How to Start Adding Kilos with Momentum: No BS Guide

Momentum Coach ·

You just downloaded the app. You're tired of spinning your wheels and you want to put actual weight on the bar. Good.

Momentum Coach isn't another generic fitness tracker where you manually type in your bicep curls. It's a strength engine. Here is how you set it up in three minutes so you can get under the bar and get to work.

The Setup

  1. Get the app: Grab it from the App Store or Google Play. Search "Momentum Coach."
  2. Make your account: Put in your email. No long forms.
  3. Feed the machine: The app needs to know where you are starting. Put in your current 1RMs for Squat, Bench, and Deadlift. Be honest. If your squat was 200kg three years ago and it's 160kg today, put 160kg. Ego will just get you injured.

How the Training Actually Works

The Block

You don't need to build a spreadsheet. The app builds the block for you based on how many days a week you want to train.

The Workout

When you open a session, you'll see your main lift and your accessories. It tells you the target sets, reps, and RPE.

You warm up. You hit your top set. You log the weight and the RPE.

This is the important part: The app will calculate your back-off sets based on how that top set moved. If you were grinding at an RPE 9.5 when it was supposed to be an 8, it will cut your back-off weight so you don't fry your CNS.

Don't Overthink It

  • Rate your sets honestly. An RPE 8 means you had two reps left in the tank. Not zero. Two.
  • Don't skip the accessories. They are there to fix your weak points so you don't get stapled at the bottom of a squat.
  • Show up. The AI is smart, but it can't lift the weight for you.

Stop guessing your weights. Let the app do the math.
